Yesterday saw over 300 kids take to the courts of the GLC, some for the very first time as the Under 10s season got underway.
A huge turnout of parent and family support looked on as the future generation of basketballers dribbled their way up and down the court with huge smiles across their faces throughout the day!
A huge shoutout goes to the coaches and managers of the 40 teams in the under 10s competition, some of whom have volunteered to take on what is at times a thankless task of managing the young kids through the highs and lows of the game!
A huge well done must also go to the referees and their coaching and support staff today, many of the referees were officiating their first ever game and they all did a remarkable job, THANK YOU!
