Blazers burn up the court at 2022 Regionals

The Busselton Blazers headed into their first carnival playing against some of the Regions best teams.  Busselton stood up to the challenge with some brilliant results and some satisfying wins over some long time rivals. The faces of some of the junior players spoke 1000 words with the excitement of being at the courts playing for their town, their association and the Busselton Blazers. We had 9 teams participating in the Grand Finals with 2 teams bringing home the Gold.  There were also some disappointments with teams missing finals places due to head to head and point count backs which was a devastating way to end their carnival.  With new coaches to the program, new players to teams and some sensational basketball being played. The Busselton Blazers are headed for more success as we move through the season to the State Championships and then to the ultimate Country Championships Carnival we’re we play again amongst the best of the best country WA teams.
