It with great pleasure BABA can now announce the fixtures for the 2023/24 Finals Series, Presented by Soils aint Soils.
Some points to note.
week 1 – all divisions play on their NORMAL NIGHT
week 2 – Semi Finals have been fixtured to give teams at least 2 days rest before a grand final.
also by playing the 12,14 and 16s finals on “gender” based nights, I hope this will create a bit of a friendlier atmosphere but will also allow the referee rostering to be better suited to the divisions being played.
Grand Finals – With a massive 33 Grand Finals to play this has become a huge undertaking and not something that can be done within the 2 days like the past. As a result the U18s and U21s will play grand finals on THURSDAY Night, this allows the Friday and Saturday to be less chaotic and relieves the pressure on staffing requirements (Scorers, Referees and Volunteers) for each day.
